The law enforcement agencies over here in the U.S. are being accused of breaking into individual\u2019s privacy for long. However, a new report states that FBI went one step ahead and started listening people\u2019s conversation by remotely activating Android Phone and Notebook\u2019s Microphone using hacking technique.
\nAndroid Device from VerizonOver the last couple years the agency has been seeking court orders to track suspicious individuals and that number is growing rapidly. Various court documents and interviews with different individuals involved with FBI\u2019s such program reveals the increasing usage of sophisticated equipments, reports The Wall Street Journal.<\/p>\n

As usual, the FBI spokesperson has declined to make any comment on this recent accusation.<\/p>\n

It is being reported that FBI is developing their own hacking tools and also purchasing others from the private sectors. However, investigation reveals that FBI can remotely activate popular Android device\u2019s microphone to listen to the users. Android devices are powered by Google\u2019s open source mobile operating system and currently it holds a large mobile OS market share worldwide.<\/p>\n

One former U.S. official said. It can do the same to microphones in laptops without the user knowing, the person said. Google declined to comment.<\/p>\n
